Classes Offered
- Ranch Showmanship - Showmanship is designed to evaluate the exhibitors ability to execute (with a well groomed and conditioned horse } a set of maneuvers as designed by the judge, with precision and smoothness, while exhibiting poise and confidence with correct body position. Showmanship is teamwork between you and your horse. Long sleeved shirt, jeans OK, boots, cowboy hat or helmet.
- Ranch Command - This class is to measure the horses ability to be a pleasure to ride while being ridden from one ranch task to another. This group class may include changes of gait, extension of gaits, crossing over logs, sidepassing, and backing, and lead changes. The class is to evaluate the exhibitors ability to ride their horse functionally while performing basic maneuvers. Neat, tidy attire, no bling, long sleeved shirt, jeans OK, chaps optional, cowboy boots, cowboy hat, or helmet, clean working attire and equipment.
- Ranch Riding - This class is an individual pattern class where the horse is judged on precision of pattern movements and maneuvers. Patterns to be performed at a forward, ground covering pace on a light rein. Horse not to be earclipped, no hoof polish, braiding, or banding, silver is discouraged. Long sleeved shirt, scarf, jeans OK, chaps optional, boots,cowboy hat, or helmet. Rising, or standing ( two point ) in extended trot. Flying or simple change. IIIII

$15 non-member fee
Registrations submitted after Wednesday, June 8th are subject to a $20 late fee
